A woman opened her home for the art classes that Florica teaches.  Note that the children have only one set of markers to share and only paper plates to draw on.

This was the deciding factor in Bob and I reaching out.  As we learned more about this village and the poverty stricken people who live there, we became more and more involved.  Our first step was to give these children some decent art supplies.  Kids need to have fun, especially when they live in this kind of environment.  We would give some thought to raising money for food afterward.  That would be a whole lot more difficult an endeavor.
